Welcome to the Blog Hi, I'm Josh.  This blog is a collection of my most current photography work.  I am foremost a wedding photographer, it is my passion. You will, however, find lots of other types of photography here too, including personal work, portraits, musicians,  and a bit of maternity.  I hope you like what you see, and feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out my website too.

Monica & Fernando hired me to shoot their reception only, since they were married earlier in the Summer in St. Thomas.  There was plenty of dancing, a kissing contest, and even a rubber chicken.

Congratulations to both of you, and thank you for having me.

Gabi Sizemore sent me the link to your online preview (Brian & Erin 10/10/09). There is photography.....and then there is photographic art. Your work is the latter. I am so moved by your unique ability to "capture the moment" on film. I not only looked Brian and Erin's wedding pictures but found myself joyously moving from image to image of your work. I was expecting to enjoy Brian and Erin's wedding photographs but was not expecting an online art exhibit!

Jen and Gian were married last month at the Coast Guard Academy in New London.  It was supposed to rain all day, but we didn't see a drop, and the sun even came out during their vows...coincidence? I think not.  The reception was held on the grounds also, and involved lots of dancing, energy,  and very tall guys jumping around.

Thanks Jen and Gian for having me, and enjoy some of my favorites from your day.

Hillary and Thad were married last Saturday at the beautiful Sunset Farms in Narragansett.  It was a perfect day for a wedding, as the thunderstorms never came.  I actually think Thad willed them to stay away, and there were many doppler radar jokes from the groomsmen.  There was also a really amazing band, Aztec Two-Step there to play the ceremony as well as a fun bluegrass band for the reception.

Thanks to Thad and Hillary, enjoy your wedding previews.

Michele, Aaron, and Darwin are a great little family.  Since Darwin is a dog (albeit one with a yellow bow-tie)
, he had to enjoy the reception from the outside, but he was there in spirit. The rest of us humans had a great time partying and dancing inside.  I was also surprised to see my clients from last year, Shirit and Steve, who flew in from California for the wedding.

Thanks Michele and Aaron, and enjoy your time in Israel.

Nicely done! Was this shot at Arrowhead Acres in Uxbridge? I'm out of Uxbridge and shot a wedding there in June. Again, nice work.

Kristin and John were married in John's parents' backyard.  This wedding had style all around; they had a slight pirate and mustache theme going throughout the whole day, and the kids really ran with the pirate thing.

Thanks Kristin & Jon, and best of luck in Maritius.
