Welcome to the Blog Hi, I'm Josh.  This blog is a collection of my most current photography work.  I am foremost a wedding photographer, it is my passion. You will, however, find lots of other types of photography here too, including personal work, portraits, musicians,  and a bit of maternity.  I hope you like what you see, and feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out my website too.
Hillary, Thad, Amanda, and I hiked out to the Trustom Pond Nature Preserve in Matunuck Friday night for their engagement session.  The weather was perfect, light was amazing, and we saw the smallest rabbit I've ever seen, he was about the size of a mouse (computer or real).

Thanks Hillary and Thad, I look forward to working with you at the wedding later this month.

Thad:

Josh, love the one that looks like we're in the middle of a Monet painting. Nice!

I've known Justin since elementary school, so when he and Kaitlin asked me to photograph their wedding, I knew it was going to be a fun one. The dancing got pretty rowdy toward the end of the night, and our friend Ian ended up spraining his ankle, and being wheeled off the floor like an injured athlete.

I'm going to give Ian his own post for the injury, this one's for Justin and Kait.

Thanks to Kait and Justin for having me document your day.

Emily and Ben were married last month at the beautiful Whispering Pines Conference Center.   Ben's family were some of the most enthusiastic dancers I've ever seen at a wedding, it was great (and dangerous at times).

Thanks so much Emily and Ben for having me.

Jen and Gian know a lot about Harkness Park.  We went there earlier this month for their engagement shoot, and I truly learned a lot of interesting things about the place from Gian.  Harkness offers a lot for this kind of shoot, there's a mansion, gardens, beaches, ivy covered walls.

Here is a little preview of the day, there are many more.

Thanks Jen and Gian, I really look forward to working with both of you next month.

Chad and Adriana had close to 400 guests at their wedding....wow.  They got married at the Immaculate Conception Church in Westery.   After the ceremony, we headed down to the Watch Hill lighthouse for some photos where we encountered some tight security to say the least.  After that, it was off to Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for the reception.  The party bus apparently didn't want to party because it broke down on the hour ride to the reception.  This would have left most people pretty flustered, but Chad, Adriana just called some friends to scoop them up, one of the best men even rode in the trunk...
