Welcome to the Blog Hi, I'm Josh.  This blog is a collection of my most current photography work.  I am foremost a wedding photographer, it is my passion. You will, however, find lots of other types of photography here too, including personal work, portraits, musicians,  and a bit of maternity.  I hope you like what you see, and feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out my website too.
Fireworks.  There I said it.  Hong and Dane are a couple of really great people with really solid family and friends too.  I shot their wedding on the Fourth of July at Belle Mer in Newport.  We actually started at the Pearls boutique hotel, and took a trolley from there all around Newport.

These are some of my favorites from the day.

This wedding was extra special for me.  Leslie and Eric are good friends of mine from way back when we were all living in Hawaii together.  They chose to get married in Portland, which is about halfway between their old home (Hawaii) and their new one (North Carolina).  Friends came in from all over the country and even further (Dubai).  It truly was an amazing reunion for many of us.

Thank you so much Eric and Leslie, and enjoy some of my favorites from the weekend.

Andrea, Dan, Hamilton (their beautiful chocolate lab) and myself spent last Thursday exploring the beautiful Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington.  We decided that it must be noon somewhere (not there), and sampled some of the fantastic wines they had to offer, including a delicious Connecticut grown Chardonnay.

After leaving Hamilton in the car, he got pretty excited and we decided to stop by Wilcox park on the way home to let him run around and also to grab some photos of the whole family.

This past weekend was chock full of engagement session fun.  On Sunday, I drove up to Boston to meet with Hong and Dane.  We took a walk through Boston Commons (Central Park's little northern brother) which was beautiful, and packed.  Then it was over to Beacon Hill which also provided some beautiful brick and ivy backdrops for us.

Thanks Hong and Dane, and I look forward to the fourth.

Adriana, Chad and I took the unofficial downtown Westerly tour this past Saturday for their engagement portrait session.  We started by walking around the park, then hit the post office, and finally down to the beach.  There were more than a few ticks in the dunes, but I think we got some good photos that were worth the risk.

Thanks to Chad and Adriana, and I look forward to shooting your wedding next month.
