Welcome to the Blog Hi, I'm Josh.  This blog is a collection of my most current photography work.  I am foremost a wedding photographer, it is my passion. You will, however, find lots of other types of photography here too, including personal work, portraits, musicians,  and a bit of maternity.  I hope you like what you see, and feel free to leave a comment.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out my website too.

William and Mollie are fantastic, creative, and just super nice people.  Their wedding was beautiful, and reflected their creativity, and artistic vision perfectly.  On top of all this, they are so in love with each other that it made my job easy that night.

The wedding was at the Federal Reserve building in Providence, which is a converted old bank that makes for a great wedding venue.

Thank you so much for inviting me along to document your day.

Judy and Brandt had the most beautiful day of 2009 so far for their wedding day.  I started out at Bella Vita in downtown Westerly with Judy for her makeup and hair.  All the Bella Vita girls were super cool and accommodating while I was there.  After that, I met Judy at her parents' beautiful home for some getting ready shots.  The ceremony itself was at the Avondale chapel, after that we headed down to the Watch Hill lighthouse for some formals, then it was off to The Cooked Goose for the reception.

A big thanks to Judy, Brandt, and their families for having me there to document their special day.

Joshua, your command of the art blows me away. Such wonderful use of space and selective focus. Very inspiring to an amateur photographer like myself.

Hope Road is awesome.  They are a Bob Marley tribute band with members from several other local bands including; Green Tea, and Sunday Gravy.

These images are from their first show together which was at Stash's Cafe in New London, CT.

Last week, as they do every week, Wheelhouse rocked Perks & Corks hard.  Since I now live upstairs from Perks, I decided to go down and visit Abby, and shoot some photos.

If you haven't heard Amy channel the Allman Brothers and sing "Whipping Post", you really need to, it's pretty amazing.

Rob Morrone, the self proclaimed King of Mystic was on hand with his mini trumpet too in his last performance before moving to South Carolina.

I had the opportunity to do a really fun shoot today in Providence at the Perishable Theater.  There were a few great models, and a few photographers shooting them,  including James Hazelwood (who organized the whole deal), Stacey Doyle, David Dadekian, Sarah Kang, and myself. Mark Andy Higgins came, but unfortunately didn't get to shoot as he had to leave early to take care of his son.

Thanks to Jim and Stacey for making this happen, and we should definitely do it again soon.
